So I guess Liverpool said they made an inquiry about him, then Fulham said no bids have been made so far.  I am just waiting for someone to show Fulham the money.  And Paul Doyle thinks Dempsey is good.

OK, so I sort of lied.   Moving on.

Aston Villa started their US tour tonight with a 1-0 win over the Philadelphia Union.  Brad Guzan got the start and went the full 90 minutes, while Eric Lichaj was a second-half sub.

Another day, another article about Geoff Cameron’s deal to Stoke City getting closer to being done.

Josh Gatt and Molde FK won their first leg of Champions League earlier today and he also spoke to Brian Sciaretta earlier this week.

Sciaretta also gives us ten more dual citizens to keep an eye on.

Defending champions Nordsjaelland started their season this past weekend, but Michael Parkhurst missed the game with his broken toe from last season.  But he is now back in training and should be game ready in a week or two.

Franco Panizo got some quotes from Michael Bradley about his new team.

Devann Yao is looking forward to his second season with Royal Boussu Dour Borinage.

Greg Seltzer talked to Brian McBride about his “comeback” with Wembley FC.

Ricardo Clark and Eintracht Frankfurt have mutually agreed to part ways.  Clark had been on loan with Stabæk this season.

A report out of Sweden has Brian Edwards looking for a bigger club once the Swedish Superettan season comes to an end.

Joe Gyau scored another goal in Hoffenheim’s latest preseason friendly, a 10-1 victory over FV Wiesental.

And Will Packwood will been training with Birmingham City’s first team this preseason.

  1. Gregory says:

Why is JK or all USMNT not begging Seb Hines to join America.

USMNT has no depth at CB. Even with Cameron’s stock rising; DEPTH is needed. I do not think the Championship is given the credit it deserves.

Looking forward to the USA vs Jamiaca match, they have Watford’s 2 best CBs. Kinda looking at it as a measuring stick for Championship caliber players.

  2. Trent Hill says:

I agree. Seb Hines needs to be capped. We don’t have enough depth to ignore someone like that.
