
The world’s longest transfer deal became finalized today with Michal Bradley headed to Roma for €3.75 million ($4.6 in US dollars) and the half-ownership of Adrian Stoian (I wonder if Roma got his legs or his upper torso?). As you can see from the photo above, Bradley was beyond ecstatic. Bradley also made it out to training today.
Roma finished in seventh place in last year’s Serie A after finishing in the Top 6 in each of the previous six seasons, including a few second place finishes. Roma has been in the top tier of Italian football for every year of its existence except for in 1951-52 (Serie B champs!).
Roma is headed to the US next week with stops in Chicago, Boston and New York before starting up the 2012-13 Serie A season later this fall.
