The 2011-12 Scottish Premier League champions Celtic released four players on Friday, including American goalkeeper Dominic Cervi.
Cervi had been at the club since 2008-09, but never made any first-team appearances for the Hoops. He did have loan stints at Scottish First Division clubs Dundee (no games played) and Greenock Morton (six games), but his first-team playing time has been pretty limited over the years.
The 25-year-old is now free to go where he pleases. He could return to the US, but he does own an Italian passport, which could make life easier when trying to find another European club.

Expected. I’m hoping he can make a move to a smaller team in continental Europe.
Trent,
Mid-pack Belgian, Austrian, Swiss team…?
Something like that. I’d even be happy if he landed at a good team in Ireland, Czech, or Poland.
