Brian Span got the start, played 80 minutes and scored the first professional goal of his career in Djurgården’s 1-1 draw to Helsingborg.  Here is Span’s goal.

   Keep a close watch of his progression at Djurgarden.

   Span is extremely athletic, has speed, good dribbling skills, and an eye for goal.

   Was a little surprised he wasn’t called into any of the Olympic team camps.

   He is a talented Winger/AM that could very well progress to a strikers role. He keeps on playing well a January camp call-up may be in the cards for him.

   He reminds me of a more athletic and faster Clint Dempsey.

   I think I worded that wrong. Span is a faster more athletic version of Clint Dempsey
