Freddy Adu is a guest on Studio 90 Extra Time in Nashville. The U-23 MNT captain talks about bouncing back from the loss to Canada, Monday’s group stage finale against El Salvador, and having his mom in town for the tournament.

    This was actually a really interesting interview. Interesting take on the US having an advantage into the semis because they’ve already been in a “must-win” situtation.

    It’s just like Teh Giants winning both of their superbowls. They wer in must win situations befor hte playoffs started and then going into the playoffs it was must win period. Sometimes a team is better when they have to perform at their best over a stretch of games. How many times have we seen this happen in all sports.

    Here’s hoping we can get past El Salvador and Mexico. I really want to have more games to watch and I really think the US-U23 team will be much better AT the olympics when we have an overage-boosted backline and players like Williams, Chandler, Jozy, etc.
