Ike Opara is the first guest on Studio 90 Extra Time from Nashville. The U-23 MNT defender looks forward to Olympic Qualifying, discusses where defense fits into the team’s attacking identity and talks about his trend-setting mohawk from 2009.
She looks a little intimidated by Opara. She is leaning away from him instead of being engaged which a reporter should be doing. She shoould be leaning towardsd Ike, so as to give the audience like she is completely interested in what he has to say.
Boyd scores again today. that makes 14 goals now. And two goals in his last two games before heading into the Olympic qualifying tournament. Definitley will be showing up in top form which makes this U-23 offense even more scary good going up against Cuba on Thursday. Boyd is 4 behind Wooten in Reginalliga West. Awesome to see two young American strikers playing well right now.
This interview actually wasn’t that boring. Heather Soltis and old clips with music = entertaining.

It’s too bad we couldn’t get Wooten in. Him, Boyd, and Agudelo up top, Gyau, Shea and Mix, in the midfield–that’s a SCARY good attacking group.
I’m disappointed in the Carrie Underwood upset in the second video.
