In six weeks in London, John has yet to make a senior squad appearance. Hyndman suggests that a resolution will hopefully present itself this week, as the Hammers seem content to take their time with a decision on the central defender. Dallas would seemingly like to know whether John will be back given that their season kicks off in eleven days.
It seems like John would like to stay (particularly given that West Ham is a strong bet to make the Premier League; they trail Southampton by just one point and stand four points clear of Reading for the automatic second place promotion), but is the feeling reciprocated? Since the transfer window is closed for England, at most a loan extension could be worked out at this time.
John’s contract is up at the end of the season so Dallas will likely try to sell him in the summer regardless of how this odd saga turns out.
Really Schellas Hyndman??? Its called the Championship not “The Champion’s League.”
Hahaha
