I was busy tonight, so I didn’t get to follow along to the various people live tweeting from the second USMNT/U-23 scrimmage, but it sounds like this one ended in a 1-1 draw. The goal scorers were Graham Zusi and Jack McInerney. I am sure US Soccer will have some kind of post-game write up and highlights tomorrow or on Thursday. Here were the starting lineups:
USMNT – Rimando; DeLaGarza, Parkhurst, Cameron, Pearce; Jones, Larentowicz, Zusi, Feilhaber, Shea; Wondolowski
U-23s – Hamid; Sarkodie, Valentin, Ibeagha, Villafana; Okugo, Jeffrey, Duka; Adu, Bunbury, McInerney
Some other tidbits from the scrimmage: It looks like the USMNT started out in a 4-2-3-1. Sebastian Lletget left the game with an injury, but was walking under his own power. And Josh Gatt will be on his way back to Norway tomorrow after picking up an injury this weekend and wasn’t available for tonight.
As for some links from camp.
Stuart Holden is back in the US working on his rehab, so US Soccer did some Q & A with him.

Moving onto the club scene.
Coming back from a hip injury, Eric Lichaj was able to log 45 minutes today in a reserve squad game for Aston Villa. I guess there have been some rumors that Lichaj might go out on loan to Leeds United once he was fully fit again, but this report out of England says he is staying at Villa Park.
Speaking of Leeds United, their web site did an interview with Robbie Rogers. Here is also a video interview with Rogers.
Greg O’Keeffe of the Liverpool Echo thinks Everton have nothing to lose with Edson Buddle going on trial.
And Ian Doyle of the Liverpool Daily Post has some quotes from Landon Donovan.

And finally, Greg Seltzer is hearing that Brondby are interested in Chris Rolfe.

Matt likes soccer. He likes sleeping in. He is also amused easily. That is pretty much it.
