Defender Shawn Barry made his debut with Austrian Bundesliga side LASK Linz this past weekend, playing 61 minutes as a midfielder. The 21-year-old had appeared in 15 games, scoring two goals, with LASK Juniors in the Austrian Regionalliga before getting the call-up to the senior team. Linz have one more game left on the schedule, but have already clinched relegation to the Austrian Football First League.
And finally, Charles Kazlauskas and Helmond Sport have one more two-legged playoff to determine whether they will be promoted to the Eredivisie or if they will stay in the Eerste Divisie next season. They will host the first game against Excelsior on Thursday and make the return trip to Rotterdam on Sunday.
