I am back in Los Angeles and beyond tired since I can never sleep more than five minutes on a plane. I have issues, leave me alone.
Joe Gyau did a little Q & A action with MLSsoccer.com. He is shooting to make the 2014 World Cup team.
Yanks Abroad has a lengthy, but quite interesting story on Troy Ready. The former Portland Timber is now playing professionally in Tajikistan, while also doing a lot off the field to help spread the game.
And Matthew over at The Shin Guardian has heard some fun rumors, including:
* Benny Feilhaber could be signing with Mexican side Cruz Azul this week.
* Celtic should be signing Adrian Ruelas during the transfer window after he spent this past fall training with the club.
* Former Standard Liege manager Michel Preud’homme is now at FC Twente and is interested in his former player Oguchi Onyewu.
* While Edson Buddle is training/trialing/working out/playing soccer at Birmingham City, Sheffield United have possibly entered the picture.
Things are starting to heat up with the transfer window opening up next weekend.

Probably a good move for Gooch.
Celtic is making some different moves. About to sign Freddie Ljungberg (33 and basically an MLS castoff), rumored to be signing Dwayne De Rosario (32 year-old MLS free agent), and now apparently signing a 19 year-old American. Basically, they’re like me on the FIFA games stacking Newcastle with all the best Americans/MLS’ers.
