   There was a link on Soccer Insider recently to an article about Charlie Davies. The coach of Sochaux recently said that he is nowhere near to being fit and he has struggled playing with their JV squad in the French Fourth Division. The article noted that he won’t be back until at least January.

   I wouldn’t be surprised in the least if he never sees the field again in the French first division. This goes to show what happens when happens when you’re young and stupid, and don’t realize the gravity of what it means to be a professional.
