A bunch of randomness for Tuesday.

I went to Tijuana this past weekend to check out Tijuana-Pumas and wrote some words about the trip.

Want to know how your favorite Americans did abroad this past weekend?  Roderick has you covered.

Want some highlights of some goals?  Bobby Wood scored twice and so did Andrew Wooten.  Brian Span scored in Finland while Junior Flores scored for Borussia Dortmund’s U-19 team.  It wasn’t a goal, but Timothy Chandler had a “deflected assist”.  And when in doubt, check out our goal tracker.

Those braces earned Bobby Wood and Andrew Wooten a spot on Kicker’s 2. Bundesliga Team of the Week.  And Wood was named Kicker’s 2. Bundesliga Player of the Week.

Not a shocker, but the rumored 2015 USMNT away jersey was officially announced by Nike and US Soccer yesterday.  And I officially added it to our USMNT jersey history page.

Julian Green’s situation with Hamburg is odd.  Bild reported last week that Green could possibly get fined for refusing to play with the U-23 team.  And now it looks like Green is supposed to meet with the team today to discuss whether he will or will not play with the U-23 team.

Are you one of the three people not tired hearing about the USMNT and fitness?  Matt Besler talked to the Kansas City Star about Klinsmann’s quotes and now Klinsi is tweeting with fitness talk.  Klinsmann also thinks the new jerseys are cool.

As expected, the US-Mexico friendly for April is now sold out.

One player we could be seeing in the upcoming USMNT friendlies?  Club America defender Ventura Alvarado.

The FA Cup quarterfinal draw was held yesterday and a couple Americans are still left in the competition.  Brad Guzan and Aston Villa will be facing West Brom, while Danny Williams and Reading will take on Bradford City.

After training with the Fighting Bob Bradleys, A.J. Soares looks to be on trial with Viking.

And finally, Christian Pulisic got to train with Borussia Dortmund’s senior team last week and manager Jurgen Klopp thought he showed signs of good quality.
