Terrence Boyd’s goal vs. PSG
July 18, 2014 (12:08 PM) by Matt Benson     Email This Post Email This Post

Terrence Boyd had himself a nice little day in a friendly against PSG.  Boyd got the start and pounced on a rebound to score a goal to tie things up at 1-1.  Boyd was taken off at halftime (and he swapped jerseys with Zlatan Ibrahimovic) as RB Leipzig ended up winning 4-2.

While it was only a friendly and the defense was lacking by both teams at times, RB Leipzig look pretty feisty.  Here is Boyd’s goal.

I hope he does well there and really gives Jozy a run for that FWD spot.

  2. David says:

    Good ‘poachers’ goal

boyd played a good 45 minutes, looked strong and agile. did a lot of chance creating for himself and others, really deserved a goal. Leipzig looked pretty good.

  4. Bird says:

Gyau went 90 again for Dortmund today. Scored a goal playing as RW. Hopefully he has a chance to stick with the first team.

  5. Tim H. says:

If Boyd continues to progress and Leipzig makes it to the Bundesliga, he will likely supplant Jozy. It’s not that Jozy’s skill and quality has declined. But right now, I just don’t see the situation improving at Sunderland for him to succeed.
