I was going to post these yesterday, but my cloud-based bookmarks type site was not working so I couldn’t access the links that I had saved up over the last few days. So here they are.
In case you have been living under a rock, here is the US’s 30-man provisional roster for the World Cup. Jurgen Klinsmann did his usual post-roster release Q&A on US Soccer’s website. The final 23-man roster will be named after the friendly against Turkey at Red Bull Arena.
Most of the team met up in Stanford yesterday, 21 of the 30 to be exact. Maurice Edu is being limited right now due to some concussion-like symptoms while Omar Gonzalez might be ready to return from his knee injury in a few days. And Terrence Boyd wants to be a tank up front at forward.
