Nantes vs. Monaco Highlights

Alejandro Bedoya went the full 90 minutes and scored a consolation goal in Nantes’ 3-1 loss to Monaco on Sunday.  Here are the highlights.

    That header was sick. Granted, probably a bit of luck to place it that well, but he is definitely making his case for starting over Zusi…

    On a side note, Monaco averages 8,658 fans per game. Only Chivas draws so poorly.

    Monaco has only 36,371 people, and I doubt nearly 25% of the city shows up for games.

    Please don’t even attempt the math for Chivas attendance vs LA’s population.

    Attendance is important, but like all USA sports most revenue comes from TV contracts. Yea they can bang you for a $20 beer if you attemd the game, but you don’t watch the TV commercialism from the stands.

    Really nice header by Bedoya. I love his work rate and his pace, and he always does seem to give his best for both club and country.

    Depending on the opponent/formation, I would be fine with him starting at RM over Zusi. I like Zusi, but feel like his lack of pace will really be a liability at the elite international level.
