We had American-on-American crime in the Premier League on Sunday as Geoff Cameron scored his second goal of the season on Brad Guzan in Stoke City’s 4-1 win over Aston Villa.  Brek Shea also dressed and made Stoke’s bench.  Here is Cameron’s goal.

Did Cameron play midfield? And Brek Shea! On the bench! What a miracle! I’m sure it was only because of injuries though…

  2. Dave says:

The awkward moment when you realize that Cameron has more BP goals than Jozy

  3. CP says:

    Cameron is awesome!

Cameron played RB, but by the end the positions had dissolved a bit. Yeah they talked about Shea maybe coming on when peters went down but alas… still, he should be in the mix for the next few weeks.

Cameron had a really good game. Solid defensively, didn’t have to much to do, and did well going forward. Looked really comfortable on the ball and got past everyone on the overlap a couple times, but his delivering wasn’t great.

  5. William says:

Geoff Cameron would be nice at CDM next to Bradley IMO. Of course Jones will start and that’s not so bad either…

  6. Jerry says:

I was more impressed that Cameron started the game very poorly, but big game players are able to right the ship mid-game, and that is what he did. Good to see him get a goal after a very good performance.

I agree that Cameron has to be the CDM next to Bradley, the speed of the teams we are facing just spells disaster with Jones “tendencies”.
