Tijuana vs. LA Galaxy Highlights
March 18, 2014 (11:40 PM) by Matt Benson     Email This Post Email This Post

Joe Corona and Greg Garza both started while Herculez Gomez came off the bench in Tijuana’s 4-2 win over the LA Galaxy.  Tijuana advance to the semifinals of CONCACAF Champions League by winning 4-3 on aggregate.  Here are some highlights from tonight.

Since the first leg of the semifinals will take place around April 1-3, it looks like the Tijuana contingent will not be involved with the USMNT friendly against Mexico.

Too bad, could’ve gotten a good look at Garza at leftback, a resurgent Herc, and Corona.

  2. CP says:

Just as well. Hercules, Garza, and Corona are not making the team. Would have loved to see the MLS win, but having Donovan and Gonzalez in camp against Mexico is the best thing for the USMNT… The only downside is that I believe having Donovan in camp may prevent Green from seeing as much playing time.

  3. Dirk says:

Some awful first half defending by L.A.
