In a battle of American strikers, Aron Johannsson went 90 minutes and scored a goal in a 1-1 draw to Juan Agudelo (74 minutes) and FC Utrecht. Here is Johannsson’s goal.
What a nice run. That’s what’s impressive to me about johannsson, he doesn’t do it with op skill or athleticism, but can create with runs and find space in the box. Its encouraging for a young striker to play like that, but it also makes me wonder just how high his ceiling is.
Yeah true. Finding space in the Dutch league is like a miner making a huge cubic zirconia find.
He’s great, positionally, but so is Wondo.
The difference is that he has the technical skill Wondo doesnt and is also much more gifted athletically. We’ll see what happens with him.
