OT Player of the Week
February 10, 2014 (3:33 PM) by Matt Benson     Email This Post Email This Post

We haven’t done this in a while.

Howie’s Pick – Andrew Wooten (FSV Frankfurt – German 2. Bundesliga)

After having a strong run during the mid-season break friendlies, Andrew Wooten picked it up in league matches, coming off the bench to score the winner in FSV Frankfurt’s 2-1 victory over Bochum (highlights).

Matt’s Pick – Marc Heider (Holstein Kiel – German 3. Liga)

Marc Heider scored two goals in Holstein Kiel’s 3-0 win over the weekend, giving him a team-leading eight goals on the season, which are also tied for the seventh most in the 3. Liga (highlights).

EDIT – I forgot the poll (Thanks CP!)

    No poll?

I would go for “other” and select Packwood, if I had the choice. He at least has a chance to make the flight to Brazil and his likelihood increased the most this weekend…

    Added the poll.

Packwood would be a good vote. Whoscored rated him a 7.7 last week. That is pretty good for a 20 year old CB. Looks like the bad leg injury is well behind him and he very well could be in Brazil.
