Solid goal from him. Seems to be excelling for Nantes–he played three positions today and by all accounts he excelled at each. Unparalleled work-rate.

Bedoya is strengthening his case everyday as one of our World Cup starting Midfielders (doing everything that Klinnsman has asked of him and doing it well!). This really puts pressure on Zusi and Donovan to follow suit and get on loan for the winter.

As of today, I think Klinsmann’s starting 11 are:
    Johnson – Dempsey – Bedoya
    Bradley – Jones
    Beasley – Cameron – Besler – Evans

I really hope Donovan can come on strong and get Johnson moved to LB over Beasley and Cherundolo can make the full comeback and replace Evans! Or better yet, Brooks comes on strong and Cameron gets moved to RB over Evans…either way, that would be a great line-up and give us a chance in a group of death!

Bedoya did well to walk the ball inside, but I think that shot found the net only via a largish deflection. Regardless, he is having a great go with nantes this season from what I have watched.

Look at how far the USMNT has come. We have a regular starter for a Ligue 1 team who might not be starting for the national team. Even 5 years ago that would never happen. Go us.

  4. Jaime says:

    Good Point Daniil…

Here the starting 11 that I predict for Brazil

    Fabian Dempsey Bedoya
    Bradley Jones
    Beasley Besler Brooks Chandler

    Bedoya was MOM according to

I’ve always been a fan…even to the detest of some other US fans a few years ago. Good for him!!!!!!

  6. Trent Hill says:

Daniil’s point is really good. As late as 2010, starting in Ligue 1 was a guarantee that you’d start in the USMNT XI.

Today we’ve got guys in Germany, Scandinavia, France, and even the Netherlands who may not start in Brazil.
