    No Shea or Edu. Seems like bad news for their world cup hopes.

  2. Chris says:

    both are still injured i believe, and edu is looking for a loan move away. no worries, yet.

  3. Jerry says:

    Edu shouldn’t be considered anyways, he isn’t good enough.

    Shea is still injured and will probably end up being essentially an early winter transfer signing for Stoke.

  4. Gregory says:

    @Jerry

    Your right about Edu, he’s my favorite Maryland product, but he has no business starting in Brazil. Edu needs a transfer just to have a chance to make the bench for Brazil. I see Edu, D.Williams, Parkhurst and a couple others fighting for a defensive utility bench spot.

  5. Gregory says:

    I hate on Shea, but he is a EPL player that controls he’s own destiny. Every week he has a chance to become an EPL starter, which would put to the top of the USMNT depth chart. I heard he starting training last week so hopefully he can see the field soon.

    in 2010, our 2 best CMs far and away were Bradley and Edu. It’s sad to see how his career has turned since Rangers’s implosion. He was a vital player in a good european side.

    when he’s played with the nats in the past 24 months, he has looked good. when hes played with a club team the past 24 months, he has looked good. he is a good player, always has been, just can’t get a game at stoke. the kind of depth we have at the 6 right now, we don’t need guys in our squad who aren’t playing for their club.

  7. Trent Hill says:

    Yeah. Ahead of Edu is Bradley, Jones, Cameron, D. Williams, at least. Probably more.
