Jozy Altidore scored two goals (and had an assist) today in AZ’s 3-0 win over Ajax in the KNVB Beker.  That gives him 23 on the year in all competitions, tying Clint Dempsey’s 2011-12 mark for the most by an American in a single season in a European top-flight league.  Here are his goals and assist.

   Such a beautiful chip shot. Didn’t get to watch the game but I love seeing Jozy enjoying himself out there. Hopefully we can learn how to feed him some service.

   I was most impressed by the assist. Yes, Ian, it’s an assist. That chip was badass though.
