jozyaltidore

Another week and another goal by Jozy Altidore.  Jozy scored his 16th of the season in league play and 21 across all competitions in AZ Alkmaar’s 2-2 draw to Roda JC (highlights here).  He wasn’t the only guy scoring this weekend as Andrew Wooten scored Sandhausen’s lone goal in a 3-1 loss (highlights here).  Nice to see our goal tracker slowly add some more names.

If you can’t score might as well assist on a goal and two Americans did that this weekend.  Timothy Chandler help set up Nurnberg’s game-tying goal in stoppage time in their 2-2 draw (highlights here).  And Sacha Kljestan had an assist in Anderlecht’s 2-0 victory over Sporting Charleroi (highlights here).

Did brooks and morales both play CB?

  2. Matt says:

Something I read/saw earlier today had Morales at RB and Brooks at CB, but it looks like Morales played a center/defensive midfielder -> http://www.football-lineups.com/match/152759/
