Tuesday morning links

Just got home and starting to play some catch up from the last couple of days.  Here are some goods.

As Howie pointed out yesterday, the CONCACAF U-20 Championship will air on Fox Soccer.

Sacha Kljestan has signed an extension with Anderlecht for another three years.

Stuart Holden put in another 90 minutes for Bolton’s reserve team over the weekend.

Maurice Edu made this Turkish league team of the week.

I can’t find highlights yet, but I guess Andrew Wooten had two assists/help set up two goals in Sandhausen’s 4-1 win over St. Pauli on Sunday.

Shawn Parker welcomed Michael Parkhurst to the Bundesliga over the weekend.

Here is a video interview with Brad Guzan.

Mix Diskerud is expected to sign with a clubs this week according to Brian Sciaretta.

Brian Blickenstaff spoke to Russell Canouse and Zach Pfeffer about Hoffenheim’s youth academy.

I posted Part 1 last week, but Part 2 of Will Parchman’s look at the USMNT’s failed attempt at qualifying for the 1986 World Cup is now up.

According to Grant Wahl and his sources, here are the venues for the remaining USMNT home qualifiers.  If true, I might have to make a trip to Seattle in June.

Shawn Parker for Brazil 2014 squad

  2. Kyle says:

Not a fan of Mix possibly heading to Russia or Ukraine though if its’ not a perennial CL team.

  3. daniil says:

would love to see Mix in russia, his range and energy in the midfield would be a perfect fit for any side in the russian league

i honestly wish they would spread qualifiers out a little more. IDK KC had one just last round. It’s alright though because seattle is there that makes up for it all.

  4. Gregory says:

If Marice Edu keeps this form he can take his starting spot back from D.Williams. (AKA the 4th best CDM on the field)
