It is puzzling to me why Seattle hasn’t been selected to host a HEX game yet…that would be the #1 venue on my list.
Seattle = turf
I still am waiting for the usmnt to play any kind of game here in the Bay Area. AT&T park would be a beautiful venue for a game.stanford stadium would even suffice.
*yay bay area*
been to 4 games at Stanford stadium, 2 MLS and 2 euro/mex club friendlies. Its a really good venue for soccer, the only concern would be the size of the field. for the friendlies it was fine, but MLS likes more room behind the goals and the pitch was a little small then.
AT&T i dont know about… i dont think soccer really works well in ballparks.
After the amazing turnout for the Jacksonville game, I have no idea how they can’t seem to get a game that matters. Miami is such a horrible sports town.
What, I just realized, this is only the Gold Cup. They should be sticking with MLS venues.
