Canada has named its roster for its friendly against the USMNT (they are also playing Denmark a few days before the US game) and it is pretty young and inexperienced.

MIDFIELDERS (9): Nik Ledgerwood (Hammarby/SWE), Philippe Davies (Richmond Kickers/USA), Terry Dunfield (Toronto FC/CAN), Kyle Bekker (Toronto FC/CAN), Russell Teibert (Vancouver Whitecaps/CAN), Jonathan Beaulieu-Bourgault (Unattached), Dwayne De Rosario (D.C. United/USA), Matt Stinson (Toronto FC/CAN), Emmanuel Gomez (Club Atletico Griffa/ARG)

Also of note, the US will play a closed-door scrimmage against members of Club Tijuana (ones who don’t play against Pumas this Sunday) next Tuesday.

I was in a hurry when I posted this earlier, but I totally missed Canadian-American Mason Trafford’s name.  He is trying to get his first cap and get his name removed from future The OT Reports.

   Looks to be a very weak roster. We aren’t exactly bringing our A-team either, but there is a TON of drop-off in this Canada squad.
