If you have visited ussoccer.com recently, you may have noticed that they are starting to do a lot with it being the centennial year of US Soccer.
OT reader Ryan tweeted me some images a couple weeks ago that I have been holding on to waiting to hear more about before posting, but ESPN Deportes’ Jorge Ramos tweeted out that this is the centennial crest. Since it starting to sound like this is a thing, here are the two images sent to me.
This looks to be the actual crest on the front of the shirt (the two stars above the crest make me believe the image was taken of a women’s jersey).

While the image Jorge Ramos tweeted out looks to be the crest on the back of the neckline/collar.

This is all a rumor at this point, but it is slowly looking like it is a thing. Whether they wear this for the whole year or one game or just sell to the public, who knows exactly. I do hope this is a thing as I like the throwback look.

The first crest is superior to the current crest (with its 1990s comet tails.
another take on the centennial crest:

I wish they would go back to the 1930 or 1950 crest.
old crest definitely better
