Ullensaker and Kenneth Di Vita Jensen will try to gain some respectability after being thoroughly beaten (4-0) by Sandnes ULF in the first leg of the Relegation/Promotion Playoff

  11. Badwolfdc says:

    2nd half starts in Belgium

  12. Badwolfdc says:

    Half Time at Derby

  13. Badwolfdc says:

    Earlier mistake (oops!)

Bolton actually came back at Brighton at 90 +6 to get the tie. Time Ream went 78 min.

  14. Badwolfdc says:

    Half Time at Villa Park

    Aston Vila 0 – 0 Arsenal

  15. Badwolfdc says:

Anderlecht extend their lead (58) with a PK

    Beerschot 1 – 3 Anderlecht (59)

  16. Badwolfdc says:

OK, well Ullensaker have opened the scoring in Norway (18)
    Now trail by 3

    Sandnes ULF 0 – 1 Ullensaker (14)

  17. Badwolfdc says:

Hmmm! well that didn’t last long (20)

    Sandnes ULF 1 – 1 Ullensaker (20)

  18. Badwolfdc says:

Ullensaker have just imploded – They needed to get an unlikely 4 goals to draw even on aggregate. They are now down 2 -1 (30) and down a man (straight red) so the improbable has become impossible

    Sandnes ULF 2 – 1 Ullensaker (6 – 1 agg)

  19. Badwolfdc says:

    All the current scores;

    Aston Villa 0 – 0 Arsenal (50)

Brad Guzan now has Eric Lichaj(52) in front of him to help with Villas defense

  22. Badwolfdc says:

Sasha Kljestan subbed off at 82min (not a bad move – Sasha was carrying a yellow and Anderlecht are well on top)

  23. Badwolfdc says:

    All current scores;

    Aston Villa 0 – 0 Arsenal (61)

    Derby 0 – 0 Birmingham (70)

    Beerschot 1 – 4 Anderlecht (87)

Anderlecht are now 7 points clear although they have played one more game than their closest rivals

Derby go back in front (80) Then Birmingham hit back – woohoo! ASSIST Jonathan Spector (82) Oh Boy!!! then Derby strike again (84)

    Derby 3 – 2 Birmingham (86)

  28. Badwolfdc says:

Malaga kicked off against Valencia a few moments ago
Gooch is starting on the bench today (after starting in Malaga’s last two games)

  29. Badwolfdc says:

Malaga takes an early lead (8)

    Malaga 1 – 0 Valencia (10)

  30. Badwolfdc says:

    Full Time in Derby

    Derby 3 – 2 Birmingham

Jonathan Spector had a very eventful/busy game playing the full 90min receiving a yellow card and assisting in Birmingham’s 2nd goal

  31. Badwolfdc says:

    Full Time at Villa Park

    Aston Villa 0 – 0 Arsenal

As in recent times Guzan is a true last line of defense. Evan though this is a home win, a good result for struggling Villa

  32. Badwolfdc says:

    Other Current Scores

    Malaga 1 – 0 Valencia (20)

    Sandnes ULF 2 – 1 Ullensaker (66)
    Aggregate 6 – 1

  33. Badwolfdc says:

OK that’s it for me today

Thank you for following and comments

Not sure about tomorrows commentary (I have had a lot of connectivity issues at my end today)

Hope your Saturday is going great and your Sunday rounds out a perfect weekend

Next post is a look at Sunday’s games

  34. Badwolfdc says:

    Sunday’s notable games;

Tottenham welcome West Ham to White Hart Lane in a London Derby. Dempsey should start (no matter what the rumors)even though Clint is in a dry spell at Spurs. Not so sure in Friedel, the needle is swinging back and forth, and who knows the mind of AVB (no matter the rumors) game time 11.00am ET

Hoffenheim v Leverkusen, Both the USMNT players Fabien Johnson and Danny Williams should start for Hoffenheim.
    game time 11.30am ET

Pescara v Roma. Would be very surprised if Bradley didn’t start. game time 9.00am ET

AZ v Feyenoord Jozy Altidore should start as AZ really need to win or fall back off the pace for a Euro league spot(early days)game time 8.30am ET

Admira v Rapid, Terence Boyd is going great guns at Rapid, unfortunately Rapid is not. With 2 wins in the last 5 they have slipped out of contention for Champions League (7 points behind Salzburg)But a win Sunday should solidify their Euro League spot (again early days)game time 9.00am ET

There are some other really good games on the cards tomorrow, I just picked what I feel are the best, no insult implied for any club not mentioned.

  35. Badwolfdc says:

    and finally before I go;

Sandnes ULF have beaten Ullensaker 3 – 1 (7-1 agg)
So Sandnes ULF will stay in the Eliteserien for another year
and Ullensaker and Kenneth Di Vita Jensen will remain in Division 1.

  36. 2tone says:

Anybody see 1860 Munichs game today? I heard Bobby Wood got into the game? Which is awesome.

  37. Badwolfdc says:

Ian, this is from this mornings post

Early games all coming from Germany

Bobby Woods came on in the 74th minute to help 1860 Munich snatch a tie at Union Berlin in the 2 Bundesliga

    Union Berlin 2 – 2 1860 Munich

  38. daniil says:

    Tottenham 3-1 West Ham

Dempsey with a lovely ASSIST on the second goal, chipping in garreth bale
Dempsey also played Aaron Lennon in behind the defense, with lennon giving defoe a tap in for goal #3

  39. daniil says:

    Hoffenheim 1-2 Bayer Leverkusen

Fabian Johnson goes 83 minutes and scores a GOAL
Danny williams does not get into the match

  40. daniil says:

    Pescara 0-1 Roma

Michael Bradley goes 90 and picks up a yellow in a gritty road win

  41. daniil says:

    AZ Alkmaar 0-2 Feyenoord
Jozy altidore goes 90 but fails to get on the scoresheet in a home loss

Btw I don’t think this was mentioned before but at 6pm ET Tijuana plays Leon in the second leg of the Liguilla semifinals. Leon leads 2-0 on aggregate, but los Xolos have played great at home this year and will fancy their chances in the return leg. Joe Corona, Greg Garza, and Edgar Castillo will all be hoping to push into the final.
