Both of these moves have been talked about on the site over the last week, but they are now official.
Maurice Edu has signed a three-year deal with Stoke City and now just has to wait for his new work permit. He likely won’t have it in time for this weekend’s game against Wigan. Here is a photo of Edu signing his contract.
As for Joe Gyau, he has been officially loaned to German 2. Bundesliga side St. Pauli for the rest of the 2012-13 season. Gyau signed a three-year deal with Hoffenheim last spring, but has not been seeing the field so far this season.
Thoughts on the moves?

I don’t understandy wy gyau isn’t seeing the field. Do you anticipate that he’ll get time at this new club?
Wasn’t St. Pauli in the top flight last year?
@William,
St. Pauli was in the Bundesliga two years ago, they then were relegated (they placed 4th in the 2. Bundesliga last year).
Your link for the edu picture doesn’t work.
Fixed the link, Steve.
I think this will be a very good move for him.
