Luis Silva is apparently off to UANL
December 3, 2015 (1:00 PM) by Howie Michaels

Real Salt Lake midfielder Luis Silva, who is out of contract after a midseason trade from D.C. United, apparently isn’t interested in sticking around MLS. According to multiple sources, Silva will be moving to Mexico and joining UANL (or Tigres, if you prefer).

The 27 year-old was the #4 overall pick in the 2012 SuperDraft by Toronto. He put up 5 goals and 5 assists as a rookie, 3 goals and 4 assists over two teams in 2013, and 11 goals and 4 assists with D.C. last year before struggling with injuries. (He actually put up those 2014 numbers in just 1500 minutes.)

He’ll join Jose Francisco Torres in the Tigres midfield.
