Quick link action for Thursday
September 17, 2015 (12:15 AM) by Matt Benson

Life is busy so I will keep this short and to the point.

Here is the USMNT 35-man provisional roster for the CONCACAF Cup.

It is looking more and more like Copa America won’t be taking place in the US next summer.

Fabian Johnson has returned to light training with Borussia Monchengladbach.

Tim Howard was named Everton’s Player of the Month for August.

Lynden Gooch was named U-21 Premier League Player of the Month for August.

Josh Gatt needs to repair his knee a third time now.  Ugh.

DeAndre Yedlin will wear #24 at Sunderland.  Here is a video interview with Yedlin on Sunderland’s website.  Sunderland manager Dick Advocaat says he doesn’t know much about Yedlin yet.

Andrija Novakovich had an assist with Reading’s U-21 team earlier this week.

Mukwelle Akale scored a bitchin’ goal for Villarreal’s U-19 team recently.

Jordan Morris is scoring goals with Stanford.

Someone made an every touch video of Gedion Zelalem’s latest game with Rangers.

Desevio Payne has returned to playing after being hurt.

And finally, Carolina Rapids Academy goalkeeper Gabe Rosario looks to be headed to Reading.
