International break housekeeping
March 28, 2015 (5:50 AM) by Matt Benson

A couple things on the USMNT, U-23 and U-20 teams.

Jurgen Klinsmann initially said earlier this week that no players with the USMNT would play with the U-23 or U-20 teams after the Denmark friendly.  Syke!

Klinsmann also did a Q&A with US Soccer’s website about the Switzerland friendly and the player pool.

Ventura Alvarado, who made his US debut last week but is not cap-tied, claims he is committed to the United States over Mexico.

Poor Miguel Ibarra.

The injured Terrence Boyd is hanging out with the team this week.

The US U-23 team won its game against Bosnia U-23s, 5-2, on Friday.  The US goals were scored by Jordan Morris, Mario Rodriguez, Benji Joya, Alonso Hernandez and Fatai Alashe.  Here was the starting lineup.

The U-23ers will next play Denmark’s U-23 team on Tuesday at Lyngby Stadion in Copenhagen.

The U-20 team will take on England’s U-21 team at Home Park in Plymouth, England on Sunday.
