A couple links before the weekend
September 18, 2015 (7:22 AM) by Matt Benson

A day after a report came out that US Soccer was going to skip the CONCACAF/CONMEBOL meeting regarding Copa America Centenario, it looks like they still want to hold the tournament in the US.  So who knows what is going on.

The CONCACAF Cup will be on Fox Sports 1 on October 10 at 9:30 PM Eastern and it looks like they are doing an hour and a half pre-game show.

Mexico might be without Andres Guardado in that game due to an ankle injury.

US Soccer put up another behind the scenes type video of the US U-23 trip to England from earlier this month.

Ethan Horvath made six saves in Molde FK’s 3-1 win over Fenerbahçe in their Europa League group stage opener on Thursday.  If Cody Cropper is going to miss the Olympic qualifying due to his injury, the U-23 team might be in good hands with Horvath (or Zack Steffen).

Greg Garza hasn’t been playing for Atlas recently and now we know why.  He needs hip surgery and will be out 3-5 months.

Brian Sciaretta talked to new US citizen Darlington Nagbe.

And finally, Kenya Brown caught up with Cole Grossman about his season in Norway.

Greg Seltzer took a look at Danny Williams’ performance in the FA Cup semifinals from the weekend.

The USMNT’s 2-0 victory over Mexico last week did well ratings-wise for Fox Sports 1.
