Former YNTers signing in the NPSL roundup
April 21, 2014 (1:10 PM) by Howie Michaels

As avid readers of this site, I’m sure many of you have been vexed by such questions as “Whatever happened to Alex Molano?” and “Where did Vincenzo Bernardo wind up, anyways?” If you’ve lost sleep trying to figure out the answers to these types of questions, I have good news: we’ve solved some mysteries.

Vincenzo Bernardo, who came up with Napoli’s youth system before Napoli’s brief run as the cool team for American fans to root for, was last seen playing in the 2nd tier of Guatemala after having also played in the lower levels of Switzerland and the US. He has resurfaced in the US again, signing with Miami United FC of the National Premier Soccer League (NPSL) (semi-pro quasi-4th tier).

Meanwhile, in Texas, Dallas City FC has stacked their roster with players you’ve heard of from their days with the U-20s and U-17s:

– Victor Garza (Tigres academy)

– Moises Orozco (Tigres academy)

– Alex Molano (Dinamo Zagreb)

– Marlon Duran (FC Dallas)

They also have Bryan Levya, a former FC Dallas guy who I don’t believe was ever US-eligible.
