A few more links for the day
August 8, 2012 (1:10 AM) by Matt Benson

I posted some links earlier today, but I did some more catching up/reading tonight and have a few other thinks to post.

Carlos Bocanegra played in Rangers’ 4-0 victory over East Fife in the Scottish Communities League Cup.  Rangers’ website also updates us that all three of the Americans on the squad are likely to leave.  Not that we didn’t already know this really, but this is coming from the team’s official site.

David Smith of Yanks Abroad recently caught up with Bobby Wood to talk about life at 1860 Munich and getting his knee healthy.

The Houston Chronicle has the latest info on Geoff Cameron’s UK work permit hearing.

Robbie Findley drew a PK in Nottingham Forest’s recent friendly against Notts County.  The game report also called him “lively”.

According to Brian Sciaretta, 17-year-old goalkeeper Dylan Castanheira has signed with English side Bristol City.

A few Americans will be in Champions League action tomorrow and I will get to the highlights later in the night after a long work retreat/meeting thing all day tomorrow (not exactly the first thing I wanted to return to after vacation).
